Barrow upon Soar in Leicestershire is a a large, historic village in Leicestershire's Soar Valley, known for its riverside setting, rich limestone, and the famous 1851 discovery of a plesiosaur fossil (the "Barrow Kipper"). This is my illustration painting of the village as a greetings card.
