WHO THE HECK AM I?
Originally from the north east of England Barbara completed her Art Foundation Course at Cleveland College of Art and Design. She then moved to Loughborough to complete her Fine Art Degree at what was then Loughborough College of Art and Design. It was so long ago now, that she is always slightly shocked when she thinks about it. She has always struggled with concentrating and sitting still, but creating is the one thing she can do and focus on completely. She also likes to talk about herself in the third person as it makes her feel somewhat important.

I've decided not to do that any more! Anyway, I always try to create art that makes people smile. I never want to have to think too hard about what I'm looking at. I love colour, the outdoors, silliness and stupidly fiddly detail - some or all of these I try to put in my work! I'm always so delighted when people like my work enough to buy it and I have sent prints, paintings and cards all over the world. Every sale makes me do a little happy dance!
Thank you, if you have read this far - I congratulate you for staying with me!
