​Originally from the north east of England I completed an Art Foundation Course at Cleveland College of Art and Design. I then moved to Loughborough to complete my Fine Art Degree at what was then Loughborough College of Art and Design. It was so long ago now, that I am always slightly shocked when I think about it. I have always struggled with concentrating and sitting still, but creating is the one thing I can do and focus on completely.

I always try to create art that makes people smile. I never want to have to think too hard about what I'm looking at. I love colour, the outdoors, silliness and stupidly fiddly detail - some, or all, of these I try to put in my work! I'm always so delighted when people like my work enough to buy it and I have sent prints, paintings and cards all over the world. Every sale makes me do a little happy dance!
