Secret Garden

This is a painting I did that includes so many elements that I've experienced. It started with  a trip to Calke Abbey walled gardens where I saw beautiful borders, potting sheds and vegetable plots. I added in a fountain with bathing birds and lovely stonework that I saw in Istanbul - the birds and fish signify joy and luck. There are many other things that make you want to stop and take a closer look.
 
This is an original painting, done with very tiny brushes! It is painted in acrylics on gesso primed cradled wood panel. The price includes the frame - please send me a message if you would like it unframed.
